The Union of Arab Banks in collaboration with the Banking Control Commission of Lebanon organized the forum “implementing Basel III in the Arab Banks: Opportunities and Challenges”, on March 15 and March 16, 2012 at Coral Beach Hotel, Beirut, Lebanon. The forum aimed at shedding light on the impact of Basel III on banks and the banking sector in the Arab region and the significant challenges that need to be understood and addressed.
