French ambassador to Lebanon. H.E Mr. Denis Pietton visited on November, 9 2011 the headquarters of the Maronite league and met with president of the League Dr. Joseph Torbey, and members of its executive council. The visit aimed at discussing the Lebanese French relations and the situation of the Christians in the Middle East in light of Arab uprisings, according to the League’s statement.
