BEIRUT: The president of the Association of Banks in Lebanon, Joseph Torbey, officially inaugurated Tuesday the Institut Supérieur d’Etudes Bancaires at the Universite St. Joseph campus. The institute was set up with the help of ABL and will offer advanced banking courses for the USJ students. Torbey said after the inauguration that 72 percent of the bank employees in Lebanon hold university degrees. “ABL has helped in the creation of this institute to ensure proper education and training for the students and we plan to organize training courses for the bank employees as well,” he said.
